Honda bikes has announced a reduction in prices for its range of motorcycles and scooters, with savings of up to Rs. 18,887, varying by model and variant.
The Japanese bike manufacturer aims to fully transfer the GST benefits to its customers. With the revised GST rates, two-wheelers under 350cc now incur an 18 per cent tax, previously set at 28 per cent. Except for Honda’s premium imported bikes above 350cc, nearly all models have experienced a price drop, including popular selections such as the Activa, Shine 125, Unicorn, CB350, and others.
Honda has declared a price reduction for bikes in the 18 percent GST category, though it has not yet disclosed the price increases for its premium bikes. With the new GST rates, two-wheelers over 350cc will face a tax of 40 percent, an increase from the previous 31 percent.
