7 Launch Date:

      • The iPhone 17 series is expected to be unveiled at a special Apple event on September 9, 2025.

      • Pre-orders for the devices will likely begin on September 12, with an official on-sale date of September 19, 2025.

    Models:

        • The lineup is rumored to include four models: the iPhone 17,17 Air,17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

        • The new 17-inch “Air” is expected to replace the “Plus” model and will be a super-slim device, potentially the thinnest iPhone ever at around 5.5mm.

      Key Features & Upgrades:

          • Processor: All four models are expected to be powered by the new A19 chip, with the Pro models getting the more powerful A19 Pro chip.

          • Camera: A major camera overhaul is expected across the board.
                • All models may get an upgraded 24-megapixel front-facing camera.

                • The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are rumored to be the first iPhones with three 48-megapixel rear cameras (Wide, Ultra Wide, and Telephoto). The Pro models may also feature a mechanical aperture and support for 8K video recording.

                • The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to have a single 48-megapixel rear camera.

            • Display: All iPhone 17 models are rumored to feature a ProMotion display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a feature previously exclusive to the Pro models. The Pro models may also have a new anti-reflective coating for increased scratch resistance.

            • Design: Rumors suggest a new “rectangular” camera bump for the Pro models, which would be made of aluminum and span across the width of the device. The Pro models may also switch from a titanium frame back to an aluminum one.

            •  Other:
                  • The Pro models could get 12GB of RAM to support new Apple Intelligence AI features.

                  • Reverse wireless charging is a rumored feature for the Pro models, allowing them to charge other accessories.

                  • A vapor chamber cooling system is also expected for the Pro models to improve thermal performance.

                  • All four models may get a new Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip.
