Pakistan’s Army chief Asim Munir reiterates anti-India sentiments in the U.S.

Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has reiterated his anti-India stance. The army chief made these remarks while speaking to the Pakistani community in Tampa, Florida, during his current visit to the United States.

According to a statement from the Pakistani army, Mr. Munir is on an official visit to the U.S. and has participated in high-level meetings with senior political and military officials, along with members of the Pakistani community.

During his speech to the Pakistani audience, Mr. Munir remarked that Kashmir is “not just an internal issue for India but an unresolved international agenda. As the Quaid-e-Azam mentioned, Kashmir is the ‘jugular vein’ of Pakistan.”

Mr. Munir highlighted that this marks his second trip to the United States in a month and a half, indicating a new chapter in Pakistan-U.S. relations. He added that the goal of these visits is to guide the relationship towards a constructive, sustainable, and positive future.
