Mahindra BE.06 most talked-about electric compact crossover SUV, the BE.06, is now all set to make a significant impact on the Indian automotive market. The futuristic coupe-style SUV ushers in a new era for the indigenous automaker’s electric ambitions. The BE.06 has been officially launched, bookings have begun, and deliveries for the special editions have already begun.
Mahindra BE.06 Design and Platform
The Mahindra BE.06 is based on Mahindra’s cutting-edge INGLO platform, designed exclusively for electric vehicles and promises to deliver a combination of high efficiency, robust performance and cutting-edge technology. The Mahindra BE.06 showcases a bold and futuristic design language. Its coupe-like sloping roofline and sharp, aerodynamic lines give it a distinctive and sporty stance.
Mahindra BE.06 Performance and Powertrain
Mahindra claims that the BE.06 will cover 682 km on a single charge. Mahindra offers two battery pack options with this car. One is a 79kWh and one is a 59kWh unit. Mahindra claims that the larger battery can cover up to 682 km on a single charge. The electric motor, which powers the rear wheels, will provide a significant power output, with the highest tune expected to be around 281 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. This will allow the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.7 seconds. The vehicle will also support DC fast charging, which is capable of charging from 20% to 80% in approximately 20 minutes with a 175kW charger.
Mahindra BE.06 Interior and Features
The Mahindra BE.06 features a dual-screen setup. It integrates the driver display and infotainment system, each measuring 10.25 inches. Other notable features include a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel with illuminated logos, a panoramic sunroof and a premium 16-speaker Harman Kardon-sourced audio system. For convenience and safety, the BE.06 will be equipped with wireless mobile charging, automatic climate control, drive mode, 360-degree camera and a Level 2 Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) suite. Boot space is a practical 455 litres.
Mahindra BE.06 Price and Variants
The price of the Mahindra BE.06 starts at ₹18.90 lakh for the base model and goes up to ₹27.79 lakh for the top model. It will be offered in multiple trims to suit the different tastes and budgets of customers

Mahindra BE.06 Special Editions
Mahindra has also introduced a new and special “Batman Edition” in the BE.06, with official bookings starting from August 2025 and deliveries set to begin from September 2025. This special edition features unique design elements and is priced higher than the standard top-spec models.
Mahindra BE.06 Safety
The Mahindra BE.06 has not yet been rated by any crash test agencies. The Mahindra BE.06 is expected to feature a comprehensive safety package including seven airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and an electronic park brake.
